Chris Dahlen has taken it upon himself to go where no man usually goes, going through a pregnancy and labor program in the Second Life world.

The 3 part series takes the reader through conception (buying a package and attaching some things. Who says romance is dead?), checkups (ultrasounds and exams), and the birthing process.

Noche Kandora, of Apogee VR fame, has a new blog up called 5 Finger Pie. It's part personal posts, part posts about her sex in games experiences outside of Second Life. I'm sure we can expect more of the incredbly high calibur writing in this blog that we've come to expect from Apogee VR.

No. Really.

Nethack Porn

Yes. The ascii RPG. Nethack. Porn.

So, honestly, it's not quite as interesting as I want to make it out to be (i.e. ascii letters doing naughty things to each other).

There's definitely more, um, pr0ny stuff on the site, but that's gotta be my favorite image.

First person to make an ascention joke in the forums gets a personal visit and subsequent smacking from me.

Sci Tech Today has a lengthy article on the upcoming release of Naughty America: The Game.

I would say something else here, but really, there's been so much reporting on Naughty America that I'm really not sure what else there is to say. Other journalists certainly keep finding stuff, though.

I usually take the stance that the majority of Gor roleplay exists in online worlds. There are always exceptions to the rule, though.

I've gotta say though, I didn't expect the BBC to be giving me the info on this one

According to this story, a splinter sect of Gorean culture known as the Kaotians were found to really not be doing anything specifically wrong, but since the police had been called and the media got ahold of it, well, what reporter is gonna turn down that story?

Yiffstar, the online furry erotica literature archive, has been running a MUCK for quite a while known as YIMU Island. However, they've recently taken steps to start their own 3D client/world, known as Yimu3D.

Yimu3D is a independant client/world based on the Torque Engine (which is why the pictures look an awful lot like Tribes). It's interesting to see a community building their own world from the ground up, I think we'll start seeing more of this once things like Croquet and Multiverse are released.

Note: This article was written by a guest author, John Evans. He can be reached by email at jevans at alum dawt mit dawt edu (Yeah, you have to type it in, I'm not gonna cause a guest writer spam problems).

With all the talk about upcoming 3D sex games, it may be worthwhile to take a look at some of the more low-tech sex play environments that are being used right now. IRC is a text-based medium that has been in use for some years. Windows users can access it with an IRC program like mIRC. There are a multitude of sex channels on servers around the world, but some are more elaborate than just venues for chatting with random strangers.

Legends of Belariath is one such site. Often called The Lonely Inn or TLI after the virtual establishment where most of the activity happens, Legends of Belariath combines a website with an established IRC channel. Registration is required to read most of the webpages, but it's free. The site provides the setting and rules for roleplay on IRC, as well as a forum for non-realtime interactions. The real point, however, is the IRC channel.

AVN Online is reporting that Naughty America has been banned from E3, due to "Adult Content". This is a pretty huge blow to any game wanting to get a decent showing in the press, not that NA has had many problems getting press so far. So, E3 has pretty much told adult content developers to fuck off.

Of course, as things usually work out, things like this can garner a product more attention than actually showing up at the show. Bad press is still press, and a lot more people will have their eye on the smaller projects that're banned than whatever poor saps are relegated to Kensha Hall.
